My Control Board is "RFR-CCS" and I cant order it! What to do next!
Alot of appliance repair companies use the phrase "RFR" or ""RFR-CCS" or "CCS".
It can be very confusing to the every day consumer when they see this. The terms "RFR" stands for "repair for return". This means that you will need to remove your control board from your appliance and mail it in to a service center for repair.
"RFR-CCS" is also used by many of the larger appliance parts companties. "RFR-CCS" stands for Repair for return also. This means that you will need to remove your control board from your appliance and mail it in to a service center for repair.
There are only a handful of companies across the entire country that rebuild no longer available boards or hard to find boards from older appliances. In order to get your appliance working again you will need to send your board in for repair to one of these service centers.
Midwest Appliance Parts out of Chicago does a great job on their rebuilds. Most service centers only offer the standard 90 day warranty. Midwest gives a 6 month warranty with all of their control boards.
Give them a call today!
